I wanted to build a Passenger Station using two of the Level Crossing tracks to anchor the station to the track. Then, part way through the design, I added an elevated walkway to a second smaller Loading Station. The spacing for the bricks is slightly different across the oval than the track, but it's possible to stretch the track enough for it to work. In this layout I tied each track junction down with 2x4 plate bricks to aid in play durability.

With the appropriate code bricks, there is a the fuel station, a loading dock with a crane, and the passenger station. You can also see the stairs and the passenger lounge on the lower picture. You can just see the supervisors watching the action from the elevated walkway. The far side of the passenger station also has a water tower spout on a turntable brick. I would have liked to do the ceilings with more large plates to better coordinate the colours.
